I’m drawn to the process as much as the outcome.

The early idea, when things are still loose and undefined.
The problem-solving, where constraints start to shape the work.
And the refinement, where everything has to hold together.

Each part asks for something different, and I like moving between them.

I’ve spent years working through that cycle—long enough to know where things tend to break, and what it takes to resolve them.

I spend a lot of time thinking about how things are made—how materials behave, how parts come together, how small decisions carry through to the final piece. Design, engineering, and fabrication aren’t separate to me. They’re all part of the same conversation.

In the end, I’m trying to make things that feel clear. Considered.
Built with intention. Work that’s been shaped, not forced.
